About Mommy Needs Jesus

Mommy Needs Jesus began during naptime, in a season when I had two under two and needed Jesus just to take a breath.

I did not start writing because I had answers. I started because motherhood made my need for Him unmistakable. In the quiet moments between feedings and naps, I began to put words to what so many moms feel but rarely say out loud.

Why Mommy Needs Jesus Exists

In those early days, I wish someone had told me this: you will not have it all figured out, and that is okay. You will survive this season and the ones that follow, not by holding everything together, but by depending on Jesus.

Mommy Needs Jesus exists to remind moms that we are more alike than different. And because of that, we are beautifully broken together.

A Place for Moms Learning to Abide in Christ

This space is for the mom who does not have it all together, but knows there is Someone who does.

Abiding in Christ is not about doing more or trying harder. It is about staying close to Jesus when you feel unsure, overwhelmed, or worn thin. It is choosing dependence over performance and returning to Him, again and again.

Fixing Our Eyes on Jesus in Everyday Motherhood

Motherhood has a way of pulling our focus in every direction. Expectations, comparison, and noise can quietly shift our eyes away from Jesus and onto ourselves.

Here, we practice gently refocusing. We lift our eyes back to Christ and remember that He is steady, present, and faithful, even in ordinary and hard moments.

An Invitation to Abide, Not Strive

Mommy Needs Jesus is rooted in Scripture, prayer, and grace. It is not a place to pretend or perform, but a place to breathe, reflect, and be reminded of truth.

If you are here because something in you needed room to breathe and rest, you are welcome here.
